Kids from Wisconsin Performance in Marshfield

The Kids From Wisconsin revue is produced in collaboration with some of this country’s best writers, arrangers, and choreographers. Costumes are designed and created in Broadway style, adding to the already exciting performance. Performing a broad repertoire of music that includes the American favorites, big band, 50’s- 80’s classics, Motown, country, Broadway and current top hits, filling a two hour fully staged Broadway style performance.

2017 Children’s Festival

Save the date for the 2017 Marshfield Children’s Festival scheduled for Saturday, April 8 from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Marshfield High School. This 17th annual Marshfield Children’s Festival will feature a fun and active atmosphere for all ages with many vendors and hands-on activities and games.

Featuring Booths to visit, food, projects, games, prizes and giveaways, Inflatables & Games from H2 Extreme/Hillers Hardware, Building Projects by Home Professionals of Central Wisconsin, Teddy Bear Clinic, Climbing Wall, Kiddy Play Land, Bike Rodeo.

Admission: $2 per person.
The Marshfield Children’s Festival is a fundraiser for Marshfield High School’s Human Services Academy (HSA) located in the Tiny Tiger Intergenerational Center.

Main Street Conservatory of Dance “The Nutcracker” 2016

Main Street Conservatory of Dance presents their 14th annual production of the family-friendly, holiday ballet, “The Nutcracker”. The performance features students of the Marshfield Youth Ballet Company, MSCD’s Classical Ballet Program, Jazz Company and members of the Marshfield community. Performance times are Saturday, Dec. 10th at 2pm and 6pm and Sunday, Dec. 11th at 2pm. Tickets $10, go on sale Monday, Nov. 14th during office hours.

Join us to hear a brief history of Colorado’s marijuana legalization movement, the actual impact of marijuana legalization on public safety and how it could potentially relate to Wisconsin’s future. Examine the national strategy by pro-marijuana proponents including Wisconsin.

This free program presented by the Kids from Wisconsin is an opportunity for youngsters and youth groups to get a taste of life as a performer. KIDs troupe members “pay it forward” by teaching performance skills and tools that can be carried into daily life.

These young people will:

• Work with a “KID mentor”
• Receive instruction in dance, instrumental/choral and technical through mini workshops
• Q&A
• Perform a segment of the current show alongside a mentor
• Learn audition tips from more experienced youth


• Foster appreciation for performance
• Demonstrate diligence and dedication
• Build relationships with community youth
• Connect with a more diverse audience
• Communicate to youngsters how life’s goals can be attainable by someone just like them

Vox Concert Series

The Vox Concert Series welcomes Sean Watkins of Nickel Creek with special guest TBA for an evening of music at Marshfield High School Auditorium on Saturday, April 16, 2016. Doors will open at 7:00pm, with music will start at 7:30pm.

Proceeds from this event will go to support the Marshfield High School Music Program!

General admission tickets are available in advance starting at $20 through April 15 and at the door for $25.
