Adult Volleyball Leagues

The Marshfield Parks and Recreation Department is offering adult volleyball leagues beginning in mid-October that will run through March. Recreational and competitive leagues are being offered. Games are held at the Oak Avenue Community Center. The cost is $210.00 per team (women’s & co-ed) with the cost of men’s and power 4 teams being less due to using no officials for those leagues. Retracing Lewis and Clark’s Trail

Over many summers, Don Halloran and his wife retraced the entire transcontinental water route Louis and Clark followed in their exploration of the soon to be expanded United States. They used a birchbark canoe where water was available and bicycles or car in other areas. This talk includes nineteenth century historical and political perspectives leading to the expedition.
