Open Swim at the Marshfield High School Pool will begin on January 8th on Monday and Wednesday evenings (excluding 1/22 & 2/12).  The pool is open from 5:45–8:00 p.m. Open swim will end on March 21st.  Cost: under 18 free, adults $2.50 and non-resident adults $3.75

From January 2nd to January 6th and from January 15th to January 19th. All Items must be placed curbside prior to 6:00 a.m. on the scheduled day of collection. All wire, stands, and plastic wrappings must be removed before they are placed at the curb. The trees will not be picked up unless these materials are removed. Youth Tennis Lessons

Classes are being held at the 2nd Street Community Center on Tuesday & Thursday mornings from 9:00–10:00 a.m. These classes will focus on improving joint mobility, muscle strength and endurance. Whether you have a knack for drawing or are still trying to figure it out, Fundamentals of Portrait Drawing will help you better capture the likeness and form of the human head. This class is designed for all levels of artists. The earlier sessions of the course focus on learning to better see the structure of the human head through the use of graphite. Later sessions will switch to drawing with charcoal with the goal of having the students complete a final portrait from their own photo.

 Sequential Story Telling is the art of combining words and pictures. For some this means children’s books. For others, it could be comic books or graphic novels. Mudslingers: A Clay Experience
